I was wondering if there is anything to the v6 mercury cougars. I see alot of them with dual exhaust and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the srt-4 would do against one.

 

SRT4 would win by a mile. Win from a stop, roll, 100mph roll. Anything you name it. The srt4 will destroy it. I know someone with a mildly modded Cougar and it has trouble beating my regular neon in a 1/4 mile. I win the cornering battle, I've even won on the dragstrip. Not even a contest for an SRT4.

 

Slow....Fat....and well...you get the point.

 

Put it this way....if you can't run better then a low to mid 15 with your SRT4 then it "just" might be a contest for you. Well maybe...most of them don't run that well. And this cougar has a bunch of engine mods. Still can't roll with the neon on the curves.

SRT-4 will take it without a doubt. I was thinking of picking up a red Cougar as a daily driver until it was taken.

An actual Cougar is faster than the New Mercury Cougars. Plus a real cougar runs off of elk or deer.

 

does that mean a reat GTO runs off of a goat?
