if you're planning on going stage 2 i would just get a set of regular ngk's and use those. then put in the irridiums when you upgrade later one. irridium plugs really shouldn't be gapped, they have a good chance of breaking, and as such you don't want to be messing with them. a stock car and s2 car need different gaps, as well as heat ranges.
any good sites for the ngk's pricewise or a part number and what should I gap it at or does it come gapped already
Just get the ngk 4306's for this car from your dodge dealer. They are an alternative plug that they probably have in stock. sparkplugs.com has good prices and are very knowledgable, too. Just get stock heat range copper ngk v-powers, and you'll be set, and then, like PSI Chick said, if you go s2, get the iridiums. the above site also sells packages of denso + wires that are excellent and well heat shielded(good idea). If you are staying with the stock ecu, either iridium in stock heat range should be fine; I like denso's.
Same as stock should be fine for s1. Really - it depends on what you have in addition to stage 1, as plug upgrades are more related to horsepower increases, and some have s1 pushing around 300 hp - in that case a stage colder might be advisable. Stage 1 and not more than intake and exhaust should be okay at stock heat ranges. Figure less than a 35 hp gain should be fine at stock range, 35-90 hp more should be a stage colder, 90 and more should be 2 stages colder(and these are not concrete numbers, just a vague idea to help put it in perspective).
