anybody lease the srt?
hi, just found this forum and checking it out. My previous car was just involved in a hit and run accident so I am now trying to look for another car but don't really have a lot of cash. I still need a car for commuting to school for a couple more years and was thinking that I could afford a new car if I lease it.
I was thinking of the SRT. I don't anything about it but its specs and pretty affordable price tag. I'm looking for a car that's more bank for the buck.
Has anybody lease their SRT? What are the approx. lease payments on these cars?
Thanks in advance for replies

Hmmmm, I don't remember my dealer even mentioning a lease option and he didn't let me test drive it, either....no problem, I'm a happy SRT-4 owner...[&:]
I wonder if they will even let anyone lease one at all. I think that would be like trying to lease a Viper, I just don't think you can. But I could be wrong, if you can then do it because you WILL want to buy it at the end of the lease.[sm=smiley2.gif]
I checked around and can't find any mention of leasing a SRT-4. Maybe they're afraid you'll mod it too much or race it.....
Hello, yes you can lease, they dealer I bought mine at said "Why don't you just lease the car." I tend to keep a car only a few years if that. So it can be done. And shame on a dealer for not letting you test drive one first, I got to test an 03 and an 04 at two dealerships. You have to remember it is still just a 20,000 dollar car, not a ferrari, but that's besides the point I guess. Don't settle for anything less, and don't pay sticker, they will always come down, invoice is 18,900. Get em down there, but if you want to modify, which is only natural, it might get a little complicated. So just get one already, you won't be disappointed. MOPAR

I'm glad I went ahead and bought mine, like you said, with all the mods it could get complicated. Plus I can drive it as many miles as I want and "wear and tear" is up to me. It's one hell of a fun car, I actually look forward to getting out on the streets and "mixing it up" with the ricers.[sm=smiley4.gif]
