Launch Techinques
Most of the stuff that was done to mine was already on it when I bought it, but the previous owner who had it done said the Mopar Performance/Iceman CAI was the biggest single improvement that was made. The turbo kits for these give huge gains, some even double the horsepower to 300, but most bump them up into the 225-275 horsepower range which is good for easy 13's-14's.

Those full-throttle runs are recommended only in the higher gears, btw- wot runs in 1st & 2nd are definitely to be avoided. Consequently, how in the hell are you s'posed to stay w/in the confines of the law in anything above 2nd gear (unless you're roach****a)? I'm sure the lawyers made them put that line in after they read the manual.
Yep, I've mentioned that before, but it was in another thread and I didn't want to keep reposting everything. I have done more than enough of that about people worried about voiding their warranty's by modifying their SRT-4's, when they cannot void your warranty no matter what you do to it unless they can prove that it causes any of the problems. I usually quote Chrysler word for word on it from their Mopar Performance catalogs. BTW: racing is the only thing that CAN void your warranty.[sm=smiley2.gif]
Thanks, I recommended the turbo, but he said not many people have been doing that to the dohc. He made it sound like a bad/hard modification. He wants an srt, but he just had a kid, so...I think he should do the turbo. You heard of any problems with em? Thanks
