Default Hello and question

Hi all. I'm a new "member" but have been "lurking" since last spring. I bought an 05 silver SRT-4 last March. I love it. It is completely stock and I have about 13,500 on it. It is my daily driver. Prior to the SRT-4 I had a 99 R/T (my first car and first time without 4WD in a decade, but fun). I've had my eye on the SRT-4 since before they officially came out. I never really thought I would be able to get one but things worked out this spring.
I think my stock plugs have had it and I want to replace my plugs and wires. I have done a search and read all related posts, problem is most responses are for modded T-4s. I was looking at the Denso 9mm wires and ITL16's. Would these be appropriate for stock? I looked at the MSD 8.5s at modernperformance too and their NGK iridiums. Wish the wires came in blue and they are near the same price as the Denso set. Which would be best for my car? It is only my daily driver, no racing etc, but I do enjoy the fun factor.
I have enjoyed the info from this site and appreciate how helpful everyone seems to be. Thanks for any info.

i have accell 8.5mm wires and i got them because there blue as your looking for.. and ngk 4603 plugs they should do just fine on your stock car. and i took my plugs out about 13k and they were the worst looking plugs ive ever seen, now i tell most new owners to dont go over 10k with stockers or get rid of them asap.

i wouldn't even go anywhere near 10k on those crappy champtions. i pulled mine at 2500 miles and they were already shot.

the denso ITL16's or the ngk 4603's are going to be your best choices. the ngk coppers are cheaper than the irridiums, and on a stock car will be just fine. just watch them, my car ate up the ngk's for some reason, so keep an eye on them for wear.

Thanks for the replies. I'm thinking I'll go with the ILT16's because I don't want to deal with them needing to be changed every 6K miles. I'd rather buy good ones that last a while. Are the Denso 9mm wires appropriate then? I'm trying to find a place I can just order it all together for shipping ease. The Denso site off of sparkplugs.com has them as a package so that seems easiest, as long as they are appropriate for my needs. Thanks again.

Yup, the whole stock plug wire/sparkplug setup on the SRT-4 sucks. The wires on my '04 were cooked at 1500 miles and the factory plugs looked terrible after 5000. Makes you wonder if PVO ever raised the hood on their prototype SRT-4s....

yea, the ones that sparkplugs.com have are a good set. i'm using the denso 9mm high temp wires and haven't had a problem with them. just had to replace my plugs, but that was because of my own doing not the plugs.

This is probably a silly question, but are the wires and plugs the same on the '05? If you check out the Denzo site it only has the plugs and wires to the '04 model. I'm changing mine while my baby sleeps for the winter and I obviously don't want to buy the wrong ones.
