Very nice. How much will those pistons up your displacement?

I don't think he's going larger or much more than a standard overbore. That being said, an overbore of .030 (typical 1st over) will only net you about 3-4 cubic inches, which you could maybe then call a 2.5 liter. Wooo Hooo.
You never get much of an increase in displacement by boring.

Yea, these are .020" overbore. The engine block I have is so new, I actually thought about running std-bore pistons. Engine displacement will be 150ci or 2.457L vs 148ci or 2.429L stock. So I guess if you rounded up it *could* be called a 2.5L.

MMMMM....NICE...not trying to make a pass at ya' or nothing, but I am getting envious of your piston over here.

Can't wait to see what you got coming in next.

Nice concavity, btw - ought to be just the ticket for holding lots of boost with no bangy bangy.

Post noticed the same thing that I did. I thought the stock pistons were flat with a big ramp going across one side. If you remove the ramp and concave the piston it should give you quite a bit more displacement without having any overbore. Im sure you’re right about having a 2.457 displacement with the new pistons, it just seems to me like you should get almost 2ci per piston with all the material removed plus the .02” overbore. Im definitely no expert on the matter, just a little curious. Thanks for your posts! Also, is that a stock cam or did you get 2 new ones with longer duration?
