FYI, got a personal message today wondering if it was OK to pour the oil from the catch can back into the engine...I didn't know, so I checked around and evidently the oil that gets blown out contains bad stuff like water (from condensation) and other things. Besides, we're only talking a few ounces....

Dusty,

not to be out done... I took your advice (thanks for posting all the info and pics) and made my own catch can... I almost beat you on price... almost... I used basically all the same parts you did.

$2.38 - Fittings - Home Depot
$12.69 - Canister/Filter - Walmart
$6.70 - Hose/Zip ties - Advance Auto

$21.77 - grand total

I took about 30-40 mintues to install and wanted mine to look like it wasn't even there... haven't driven the car yet (I hate rain!)... but otherwise, simple install Tommy likey!

Good job, looks sharp!!!!! Was there a filter "element" in your bowl as it came from the maker? I took mine out, and according to the folks at SRT Forums, you'll collect more oil that way (and that's a good thing! :-)). I also added hose clamps to the fittings after one member reported his connection at the PCV valve popped off....[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley4.gif][sm=smiley20.gif]

That is a faked image. The hood is far too straight around the headlights, the shape around the fenders and the nose are too squared. Look at your SRT-4 then look at that pic, it's not even close. To get those headlights to work, you would need a new hood, fenders and nose to go with it.[sm=smiley2.gif]

i really dont know cause i found it on the internet that's why i asked if anyone had seen this before, but i'll check it out and see what they say over there at the bodyshop. i also found another picture but looks very fake. And also if you take a good look at the intercooler it looks a bit smaller than the one found on the srt-4.

Yeah, it's also missing the two "vents" betwwen the headlights and the Dodge Ram logo on the front....as hot as it gets here in Texas in the summer, that would cook the engine...[:'(]
