To the men out there.

And before some of you chime in with "are you including yourself?" stuff,,,,,yes....I am.

Anyhow, to the men:

I love the viper seats. I like it because once you in them you are locked in. You know,,,stuck. Kinda cool, huh?

Well,,,,,,sorta.

Why sorta????

Because I, every once in a while get the urge to eat.

Huh? We all do that word! How does a viper seat affect our eating????

Well,,,because in our hectic lifestyles, we occasionally eat in our cars. And when you eat in your cars, you sometimes have to pick up your food at a drive through.

Oh. I think I know where you are going here, Word.

Yes,,,,,,it's when you PAY for the food! I, since I have owned my car, have torn my rotator cuff, fractured my ulna, and have developed carpal tunnal syndrone by trying to remove my wallet while sitting in the seat.

When removing my wallet, I am using moves not much different than Madonna uses when making a video.

And to make matters worse, my back pockets usually have buttons on them. (this is due to having a *** like a jack hammer) Okay,,,maybe it's not due to having an *** like a jack hammer, but for whatever reason, my pants have buttons on the pockets. Soooo,,,when paying for food, I start the process.

Lean forward and to the left
right arm back
try to flip the button on pocket open
got it
uh oh,,,,still can't reach wallet
lady at the drive through with hairy chin begins giving me dirty looks
move further to the left
shift right hip out
got it
extract wallet and pay money
flop back into seat totally exhausted
idle out of restaurant because right arm is unusable to change gears

I wonder, if when I get older, those motorized carts that old people ride around in......hmmmm,,,they don't have viper seats, do they?

LOL!!!!

This is funny because since I got this car I never keep my wallet in my pocket when I drive it. I did when I first got it but quickly had to figure out a different way to go about things.

First complaint was it was very uncomfortable sitting in the seats with it in my pocket anyways. Then I had the exact issue, it was rediculous trying to get it out in a drive through.

Solution

I now keep my wallet in the tray thing...

Glad to hear I'm not the only guy in a SRT-4 that does a monkey dance reaching for their wallet. I drive on military installations a lot here in San Antonio, and you have to show your military ID to get past the gate guard. I hate to admit it, but on more than one occasion I've had to GET OUT OF THE CAR to get to my wallet.

In all honesty, much of that was due to me visiting fast food outlets too often. Since September, I've lost 22 pounds. I can now reach my wallet in one smooth move and the car goes faster and gets better mileage!!!!!!!!!

I do the SAME THING! And mines in the tray holder right now also, with the DCX Warranty card, and the AAA card.

You might be saying....well wt***e? Your a chick shouldn't you carry a purse? Negative soldier. They tend to collect miscellaneous articles of nothingness that I don't need to be carrying at all. Its amazing the amount of **** I used to stuff in my "purse" "bag" whatever you wanna call it. So yeah, I carry a wallet....

And I also am victim to the Viper Seat Drive-Thru Dance.

I keep my wallet in my front pocket, but I do have to get my right knee to the left of the steering wheel. (just for the wise guys, under the steering wheel not over.) It is a little nerve racking though if I'm in gear w/ foot on clutch.

My bet is that the "dance" is much more fun to watch when it's 'Lil (no offence Word)
BTW 'Lil, If I'm wrong then we're even. (seriously doubt it though)

And I agree w/ Word .. lol @ negative soldier!
