Code 522,123 and more - much worse - need help
My guess is it's electrical, based mainly on the fact that I can't think of a reason why a vacuum-related problem would cause the oil idiot light to come on.
another shot in the dark have the alternator checked to make sure its putting out the proper voltage my old mr2 had a caniption fit when the alt started to go bad it effected everything.
The connector needs to be modified of the light will still come on. THere is a two pin connector at the sensor. Only one pin is used, the other is blocked off by a small plastic plug. Remove the plastic plug and throw it away. Spray some electrical cleaner in there and blow it out dry. Believe it or not, the sensor "breathes throught the wire". Once oil gets in there, it can breathe. Pull the plastic plug from the backside of the connector and the light will be fixed. E mail me if you need more info.

Yes.
Update after they had the car overnight:
They replaced tps and road tested, didn't get check engine light or oil light. Cut convoluted tube off of wiring harness to oil sensor and the splices for the tps wires, didn't find any issues. Will be running new wires from pcm to tps and oil sending unit. Haven't been able to duplicate the brake problem, but I think one of their rental neons did the brake thing awhile back on a rainy day. They are going to call the STAR Center (technical support) to see if they have had any other cases like this.
I still have the loaner at the moment - but is looks like I am picking up the SRT-4 today - hopefully the engine is back on track. For now the brake issue is still unresolved, I hope we figure it out soon...28,000 miles of driving with an occasional, unexped loss is getting tired.
Did you read through all the comments I had? I hear you might be a good source of advice, RIPSIGUY.

Was there oil in the connector for the oil pressure sender?
