I havent heard of any issues you mention on any year. The only "Issue" I have heard of is the #4 spark plug wire tends to melt after a couple of thousand miles do to the heat from the turbo.

We haven't had any concerns expressed here about overheating or blown engines. The engine runs hot normally thanks to the turbo and is pretty much bullet proof....

where did you hear that 03's blow up thier engines? have engines gone to crap? yes. but in all of the ones that i've heard of it was because the owner did something that caused it. super steve ran too lean at 500hp and blew up. a local guy here ran a bleeder valve and blew compression on his #3 cylinder. someone else but on a mbc and raised boost to 23 psi with no fuel upgrades or even stage 1. sure, engines blow up, but not without the help of their owners!!!!

I heard of blown engines by Modified MAg , and in a article it said that while draging states " You're rowing through the gears full tilt when you go to grab third but instead of a nice transition you hear what sounds like marbles ....Transmission has grenaded.

When i read this i was very worried and heard from dealership that there has been some 03's of engine lights but thanks for the spark plugs problem.
