Boost Gauge?
So I have tuned the greddy profec. I have it boosting to around 17.8 falling to 15 at redline. The problem is the needle on my boost gauge is "trembling" during wot. It is moving about the width of the needle which leads me to belive that it is not a leak. I could be wrong. The gauge and the boost controller do not read the same. When the boost controller is on 0 the boost gauge reads ~-3. Is this a gauge problem or another problem? I am hoping the gauge is just bad. Thanks for the input.

All 5 clamps on the hoses that run from the turbo to the innercooler and into the throttlebody. Plus the mopar BOV mounting plate. At 3000 miles all my clamps were loose enough to make a few turns of the screw driver. My boost guage stopped vibrating as soon as everything was tight.

I am going to check the clamps and hoses this weekend and do a leak test. If that doesn't fix it I guess I will be buying a new gauge. Thanks for the help.

if that doesn't work then you know it's another bad boost gauge. i have found out that it is very common on the stock gauge. yeah ine is like that also, but i am going to get a different boost gauge. and mine was also like that when i had the Greddy profec spec b. the reading s were different. and through process of elimination it was a bad gauge. and also people had told me they had the same problem. NEW GAUGE PROBLEM SOLVED.
Update: I did a leak test this past weekend and that yielded no significant results but I tighted all the clamps and found that the #5 clamp, the one at the hot side of the intercooler, was very loose. I tightened it and it fixed the problem. So luckily the gauge seems to be okay for now.
