spring mod
Good question, especially since the dealerships were sent a bulletin about checking for an aftermarket wastegate as well as other things to try and deny warranty repairs. It would be more benefitial to modify the stock unit if possible to avoid the conflict.
It is very easy to adjust the AGP. The spring mod requires buying a spring you think is correct and then adjustiing it. It is very easy to overboost. If your vacuum lines are still stock, the ECU will start pulling boost. The AGP is designed to run directly from the turbo with a bleed or MBC. If you do do the mod, be carefull and don't boost too high. My advise is to spend the money and do it correctly.

See - I look at it this way - you just spent 20,000 on a car. Is the implied risk of doing the spring mod worth saving $150? I don't think so. Just go get stage 1 and start there...do things right. If you can't afford the mods, don't do them...you definitely won't be able to afford the repairs if that is the case.
if you will look at my sig you will see i have the turbo upgrade and a few more things money is not the issue either i was just wondering the difference and which was better how high boost can i go upto with my current mods

But I am pretty conservative with my tuning.
