Just got back from checking results on the gtech and it's definetly showing NO gains so far...

I did forget to lower my tire pressure though, and I get a lot of spin on the 1-2. I'm done for today though I always feel bad going out and doing a bunch of 0-100 runs like that.

More or less, I'm running the same times, if not slower actually (.1/1mph)

trust me there are gains especially in the low to mid range depending upon your mods of course.

I take my previous comments back untill I test further. After comparing my gtech charts, it looks like the problem is the lack of traction on the 1-2, it's killing the times, but the top end actually makes up for it so thats why I'm still running the same times. I get over a car length of wheel spin on the 1-2 shift. I needed to lower the tire pressure.

Less than 6000 miles on the car in that pic

Everything under the hood is still pretty clean, but it's starting to get messed up some, I need to clean it up. It looks a little cleaner in the pics, but it's not too bad yet. I want to try and keep on top of it so it doesn't get out of hand, and hopefully it'll stay looking nice under there.

Just wanted to post my "final" gtech testing results for the intake... Dropped the tires to 20psi, still wasn't able to really beat my best time before the intake (14.1). I am hitting 14.1 and 9.2 more consistantly but it's just not doing any better. Only true gain I showed is 0-60 time which is now down to a best of 5.4 from my previous 5.6.

I noticed when dropping the tire pressure to 20 the wheel hop starts creeping back. If I hit it too hard in first it'll start hopping, and the 1-2 is much rougher compared to normal tire pressure. With normal pressure it's all spin, but with the lower pressure it's about a toss up between hop and spin, which is probably where the better 0-60 is comming from - less spin on the 1-2. So there might be a small gain somewhere from the intake. I know the whole intake issue has be discussed to death on these cars, but I wanted one regardless for the cleared space and looks. The new sounds are a very much welcomed plus aswell.

Can't wait till the track opens up to see if I can do any better there than the street. My Needswings shipped today so should be here in time for this weekend. Excited about that!

I cannot wait to hear your review and testing with the Needswing, Andy.

Won't you throw codes, though? I thought that changing out the downpipe without a staged kit will thow a code? Hmmm.

Yeah I believe so, I'm getting close to getting a stage kit though anyways. Still deciding what to go with.

Looks just like the K&N typhoon with a decal. Watch the little mount that bolts to the engine. Mine broke first time I got really ****ty with it. Motor really moves around alot ,gonna get the dog bones next to firm that **** up and try to ease the mega wheel hop. After I got the K&N i saw the AEM with the splash plate to reduce road debris and water from getting to the intake. If i hit the lotto and have money to throw away , I'll trash the typhoon and get the AEM. Does the Mopar one come with the splash plate? If so it's prolly the AEM.

The Mopar is made by AEM, and yeah it comes with the splash shield.
