Mopar CAI installed (pics + video)
Next time you test, can you watch the peak boost and see if it is more, the same or less than it used to be in third and fourth gear? I'm just curious as to what, if any, effect an intake has on boost pressure.
Also, when comparing your gtech results, are you logging things like ambient temp, baro pressure, tire temp, road temp etc? It would help to compare apples to apples. If you dont have one, those infrared temp guns are getting real cheap now. I have one that is built into my Craftsman multimeter and I think it was under 100 bucks. You can buy just the gun for cheaper than that now I'm sure. A company called Raytek makes them. The tool trucks like Snap-on and Mac usually carry them but You can probably find them at a hardware/tool store too. They come in real handy for troubleshooting by measuring hot spots or cold spots on a running engine among other things. Just some thoughts.......

I installed my mopar cai and i loved it. I'm a firefighter and on our new engine, when you accellerate and let off at low speeds, the turbo makes a sputtering sound and i loved that sound. After putting the cai on, i noticed that it makes the same sound. The car is definitley louder. It was a great mod to my car
