Default high flow cat

does the o2 sensor still go in the middle of the cat on an aftermarket highflow cat? can it go behind it on the exhaust side or will that throw a code? thanks

Yes. and Yes - you will be cleaner with your downstream after the cat than in the middle. A lot of people leave the ds o2 sensor siptied somewhere under there, s othe ecu thinks the car is running very clean, but I don't know if you would have any issues due to this, I would say your idea is safe, but I am not an expert, and don't do any emissions testing, so maybe someone in anactual garage ought to chime in here.

You have a stage 1 according to you sig. If this is the case, the ds O2 senser is deactivated. You can run without a cat and still not throw a code.

Hey Post, are you coming to the Newark De meet on the 27th? sorry to hijack
