Hey guys hows everyone doing?I cant seem to find if anyone has already made this thread concerning the WGA on the market.I have heard here and there that the AGP is good and is designed to open at 14PSI not only holding boost better but not droping boost at higher RPM's like the factory watsegate does.From descriptions the Forge Motorsports Actuator is designed like our factory actuator with a curved rod opening the wastegate flap rather than pushing it with a straight rod like most other aftermarket wastegates.The thing about the Forge Motorsports WGA is that it has a replaceable spring so that down the line you can adjust the wastegate to your needs.Also this piece is alot smaller than other wastegates making it compact and easier to work with under the hood!Im not sure about the MPX but have heard that they make and sell them somewhere.Like always any feedback will be greatly appreciated,thanks again guys.

I dont have one but have read the same things you have. I dont know anyone else here with an SRT-4 either. Sorry.

 

I have the agp and I like it. You lose some driveability with the ptb but you get used to it. I recommend the agp but I am unfamiliar with the rest you mentioned so I can't compare it. Also the agp is easy to adjust for what that is worth.

I have the S2 wastegate and i like it more than the agp which ive also driven with. the agp has no part throtle boost if you try to hold 10psi it ill drop off.
with s2 wastegate it might not hold as much boost (a few lbs) to redline but i can hold any boost i like when i like.

Ok, from my experience, this was my prior set ups-

Stage 1- I had the AGP wga (old style, not the new billet), I ran this with a boost controller and also just with spring tension adjusted on the wga. Worked good, held maybe 1 psi more boost at redline. However, Partial throttle boost was not so good. Just had to be carefull with partial throttle boost.

Stage 2- My stage 2 set up, I tried my boost controller witht he stock wga. No good, bat partial throttle boost. Next tried my agp wga with boost controller. No good. The computer felt like it was pulling timing. Next, I ran the AGP WGA with the stock vacum lines connected. This allowed the PCM to control boost. This worked good. I was able to spike my boost 1-2 pis higher than the stock wga, and hold 1 psi more to redline, with no Partial throttle boost issues.

Now I have Stage 3, with the factory wga. Good to go for now.
