Default Hey Dusty. I didn't succumb this weekend

No SRT-4 for me. We read the add for Chris's Dodge World (San Jose/Santa Clara) for big Mother's Day sale that said 6 SRT-4's available for immediate delivery. No Dealer Markup! (Dealer markup a few thousand on EVERY car in Silicon Valley because their realestate is so pricey--it's a big deal, but if you drive to Gilroy you don't have to argue with that).

So. . . the wife convinced me to stay away from the Dodge Dealer for at least another week.

My first wife was a bi*ch when it came to my buying cars and trucks. She grew up in Boston and didn't know how to drive and was jealous of anyone who did. To her, an Edsel was as good as a Viper...the great thing is my kids are grown now and think my SRT-4 is "hot".

Keep dropping hints, maybe you can wear her down....[sm=smiley36.gif][sm=smiley20.gif]

First wife was the one who talked me into trading my 85 Shelby Charger in on an 89 Ford Ranger, coincidentialy enough at the Ford dealer in Sunnyvale Started a long string of incredibly boring vehicles(even a minivan[:@]). Now after ten years of wife number 2.

03 SRT-4
87 GLHS
68 Cougar XR-7 390
83 Nighthawk 650
78 KZ-650

The two older ones need heavy rework, but I have them and will not let them go

Strangely enough, one of the first things each one of my 5 ex's did after we got hitched was demand a new vehicle, or at a minimum, a "new" used vehicle for themselves...I finally spotted the trend, and haven't been taken for a ride (literally) in over 10 years....single can be sweet!!![sm=smiley20.gif]

Wow- I must be lucky- my wife likes driving it as much as I do. And she despises minivans.

We need to clone Amanda, then we wouldn't have such problems.[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]

When my current wife and I started getting serious, I told her, "I don't have an=motorcycle now, but I've had them before, and WILL have them again. If this is a problem, speak now". Her response, "If riding makes you happy, of course I have no problem with it" Damn, I love this woman

Well i guess i'm lucky in the wife department. She told me long ago that i can have all the toys i want, as long as there not to impress other women with(yeah right). And her famous last words,"my half is what ever half i want...."
