Similar problem as you with the boost guage. My speedometer wasn't operating properly. I had to take it in 3 times bitching about the problem before they fixed it. First time they said, "oh we hooked your car up to our computer and didn't find anything wrong". Second time, "we took your car for a test drive and couldn't imitate the problem." Third time I bitched some more and they finally decided, oh we'll just order him a new cluster. This was a 5 star dealer from which I purchased my car from. Look at the hassle they put me through. Would I lie about my speedometer not working just to get a brand new one that is exactly the same? Hell no I wouldn't. What would be the point of that. Just talk to the service manager and if he doesn't get you anywhere then ask to speak with the general manager of the dealer. You could also see if there is another SRT on the lot and see if it does the same thing. If it doesn't I think it should be pretty obvious to the dealer folks that your guage is busted....
