Just got a lot of new Parts...(AEM Uego, oil pressure gauge, Stage 2, and a monster 24x12x3.5 intercooler) But anyway where is the oil pressure sending unit. is there one that i can use that lets me keep the "dummy" light or is that the one and where is it located. have to wait to put the S2 on for the new motor to break in i have 1000 miles on it but how do people like the S2 and whats the hight safe boost level I can run on stock turbo with the s2 set up (no toys)
Thanks for your imput

on an 2.4 srt-4 the oil pressure sending unit is screwed into the block on the back side next to bellhousing and below the turbo coolant supply line .i believe the connector is green in color . theres not much room for a tee fitting .you can also remove the oil pressure plug on right side of the oil pan next to the oil filter adaptor .its an allen plug .NOT THE DRAIN PLUG . and tap your line there thats what i ended up doing .now your reading pressure from the pump.

That is not a pressure line... its another drain plug... i was gonna use that plug to install my oil temp. But, the oil temp sensors were too short

yes, that's where most people mount the sending unit.

it's a mutant size lol. what most people seem to find works best is tapping a flat head screwdriver into the plug and getting it out like that .

i might go to street wars, i won't be running though. still have to do some work on the car, and i'm useless on street tires. i don't have my dr's anymore so that's not an option.....but i might go to see a few people that are planning on running, so look for my car in the lot!
