I went by a local dealership the other day to pick up a part and saw what sort of looked like an SRT-4 but did not have the vents between the headlights. Other then that it had all the body similarities to an SRT-4, same hood, dual exhaust (not the same of course), and the same rear wing. It was an SXT with a body kit. On the front windshield they were advertising it as an SRT-4 and had it parked next to other SRT-4's. It was even priced at $20,500. What a bunch of frauds.

Yep its the SRT-4 design package. I kinda like it. Its cool that everyone has such a love for the SRT-4 that they make a car that looks like one but isn't. Kind of a compliment if you think about it.

I've seen a TON of them in RI, they don't bother me any. Every one I've seen always gives me the thumbs up sign as if to say, sweet car. Though I'm sure some of the owners are cocky (as with any vehicle), the ones I've seen have been pretty cool.

 

I never really understood why they came out with that package.....reminds me of the old fiberglass sports car bodies people used to slap on a VW chassis.....

I call it perpetrating. It is the same concept as some basic Integra with some slapped on badging and spoiler claiming "type R" or a V6 Mustang with a Cobra emblem......we can go on and on. It is perpetrating, especially when you are trying to sell it as the real deal.

they are a regualr neon with hub caps, the only thing different is that there our hood and spoiler on it. the exhaust is small and the front and rear bumpers are regular neon so the exhaust just hangs there. the ones i have seen also say srt in the black plastic insert of the scoop, they do not say 2.4 turbo. i dont like them one bit, it just makes people that dont know a difference between ours and those think they are the same. what an understatement.

It has a bumper modeled off of an SRT-4 bumper, its not a regular neon bumper

The rear bumper is similar to a stock neon, but it has dual exhaust outlets rather than single.

Its a dual exhaust setup with a muffer, similar to that of the old R/T neons

It does have the SRT-4 spoiler

NOWHERE on it does it claim to be an SRT-4

It has an SRT-4 hood, but I dont think its functional.

It has rims, not hubcaps.

It also loses its body side mouldings
