He is most likely speaking of the RB20DET

for sure i know not to race a 03/04 but i was just wondering about the older years. has anyone ever heard of someone putting a skyline engine in a sentra. the same dude said that a guy with a sentra with a skyline engine wants to race me. i dont think you could put a rear wheel drive v6 in a front engine inline 4 car, but you never know.

Maybe a Bluebird or Pulsar GTiR SR20DET. Which are both 4-bangers. The Pulsar GTiR engine maybe where he's getting the Skyline from; GTR vs. GTiR. The GTiR is a bad mama-jama. Sporting a T28, I think 470cc injectors, and an individual throttle bodies set-up. The GtiR is AWD but I have heard of some FWD rolling with these special SR20DET's. Hey SRT4Welder…I want to see some of you KA-T action you got. Pictures or something.

Stick to racing cars in the same class as yours (on the track, NOT the street), otherwise you're not proving anything.............

non s/c Cobras and Mach's are very sensitive to RPM's, hense if you catch one in second @ 25 mph, those tremics wont drop to first and it will seem like you beatem up really bad because he wont be into the power till he has to run you down, you can also catch them with traction controll on and they pull timing and fuel. there are wheel hop problems with the independent rears on the Cobras that the Mach's (stick axle) dont deal with. If my dealer keeps giving me $hit I may be in the market for a Mach, those 4 valve motors are sweet.

believe me i know the 03/04 would kill me but i dont know anything about the other years. i know this guy is a mexican that lives in Costa Mesa and i am guessing he has an older SVT. that is why i am asking. im not worried about the S2000 and its 240 hp and 160 ft-lbs. the car weighs as much as a srt-4 too. and trust me i can drive.

Most Mexican / hispanics around here dont race or want to race unless they know they got something... other than that some will talk mess like they have something they just wont back it up.
If he is putting money down he thinks he has a sure win.
The question here is two fold. What year SVT and is the Cobra modified? Identical mod for mod the cobra wins. There is no substitute for cubic inches if everything else is otherwise fairly equal. If the Cobra is pre 2003, and modified with a supercharger, exhaust ystem and computer chip, lower axle ratio, etc, it will in all likelyhood destroy a similarly modified 4 banger srt. That is the inherent problem faced by 4 bangers when playing in the jungle. A stock Cobra vs a highly modified srt a different story......... [8D]
the supercharged cobras would blow the doors off any SRT-4 that isn't modified.. stock for stock their much faster.. to keep up with it you would atleast need to be in the 12s.. they run a 12.9 stock from the factory.. and a couple hundred bucks they will be running mid to low 12s.. now before the 03-04s the cobra SVTs came with the 03-04' stock mach 1 motor.. a 4 valve 4.6L.. my brother has one with a coulpe hundred in bolt-ons and he is running 13.0s on street tires with traction problems in 1st and second gear.. i've driven his mach 1 before.. and in the lower RPM range they have the same horsepower as my old 99 Mustang GT but once it hits 4 grand and that 4 valve kicks in they take off and hit triple digits before u know it
now if it is a 99 or below you have a good shot with it unless its modded.. the pre 99s will run a little faster then a 99+ stock GT
