HOM HELP!!!!
Okay so i got a big race lined up against some Porsche on N20...I got my New DR yesterday after 2 weeks of waiting,so i figured i would go get a tank of race gas to accomedate(spell check) the tires!!!On my way to the station i pushed the lil red button just out of over enjoyment and nothing happened..So my ? is how do i know if its engaging or not if the red button is not lighting up?If that buttons isn't lighting up i cant tell if i am waisting a $50 tank of gas!!!Sorry but i have a lil money riding on this and would really like to have the assistance of HOM....Any input would be appreciated
the light didn't go on at all? even with no race gas the red light will turn on but then it will blink at you and kick you out of hom and go into limp mode (believe me that sucks, like hitting a wall). if the light isn't turning on at all then there might be a issue with wiring. it could also be a bad led, a few kits have had them. does the led for the ic sprayer work? dab works?

It all comes down to what year and version Porsche, how much spray and/or other mods and how good the driver is. And this also goes the other way too.
Quick easy answer - check the fuse in the toys fuseblock. Sounds like it is blown.
Just a thought,
Also if it is on n2o i am assuming it is a 944. If that is the case you ought to have a shot. but that is mere supposition.

did the light work before?? or is this the first trial with it??
if it's the first trial, reverse the wires to the LED... some of the kits the wires were put in backwards (I kid you not, it happened to mine, and when I called the tech. support the gentlman said it was an issue)... if it's worked in the past, disregard this post. ha-ha...

If there is a substantial power loss when it kicks out, then couldn't he try simulating that by running it full on and in the middle of a hard run flip the HOM switch off? I would think that should simulate it kicking out of HOM on it's own.
