<FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3>Just got back from the track with the srt4...awesome! Throwed a set of 15 inch centerlines with mickey tslicksfrom a buddys 99neon. First run on stock tires ran a 14.04 at99.8 mph .7 reaction time(Spun off the line like crazy) Second run with stock tires 13.98 at 100.02mph .5 reaction time(still spun a lot)Followed up with 19.67 at 100.01mph .4 reaction time(dont even try to launch the srt4 at the quarter with less than2500 grand on the tach it will jump and die and everyone will laugh you off the lot...lol)Ok replaced stock wheels/tires with15 inch slicks first run 13.80 at 103.35mph .6 reaction time.Second run on slicks 13.79 at 104.20mph .6 reaction time third and final run on the night netted a 13.76 at 103.80mph .6 reaction time not sure about the speed drop but this car impressed me as it was bone stock with only a set of slicks added for the last three runs all for 21,690.00. Cant do that most sub 13 second cars now are 30 plus another 10 to 20 to get into the low 13's. Me and a policeman who is a best friend of mine went out to a open road for some clocked top speed runs we made three with the best being 153.67mph before his boss showed up and said he was going to arrest us all...that ended that. </FONT></P>

I have seen a few '03's running at National Trails and Norwalk and they seem to be 13.7-13.9 fairly consistently. With stage 1 they were running 13.0-13.2.

 

<FONT color=blue size=3>well the 04's come with the stage on already on it, so you should be running in the area of 13.0-13.2 in the 04 or some where near that.</FONT>

 

I have heard a rumor, now remember I said a rumor, that the '05 SRT-4 will be in the 300 hp range. Has anyone heard what they are doing with the SRT-4 in '05 or beyond? I know that the Neon will be a mitsubishi lancer powered by a hyundai motor when it gets updated again/redesigned. How much longer will the SRT-4 be produced?
