i went with the silverstars bulb swap for both the headlights and fogs, all for about $125. pretty easly install as well, just gotta be careful not to scratch the paint around the head light assembly well and get the alignment of the head lights just right. bright and white, with just a hint of blue....i like it.[&:]
One of my coworkers installed Silverstars in his headlights and fogs on his new '04 Neon R/T and it looked sweet. But less then a month later they fried out his whole wiring harness and the dealership refused to replace it under warranty. He had to goto a junk yard and get one outta a car there and have them install it cause they wanted like $600 for a new harness. Then they got coolant all over the intake somehow while installing it so he had to make them clean the engine, and then the turn signals wouldn't work after they installed it and they tried to refuse to fix that. After tons of bitchin' they finally fixed all the problems. He's now stayin' away from Silverstars. Anyone else had problems with these? Anyone usin' those upgraded voltage harnesses avaliable for them? They're supose to make them brighter too.

I have never heard of sylvenia sillverstars hurting stock wiring...but I have heard that HID's will burn you stock light housings and screw up your wiring in a big way. Since they burn so hot, they will melt the laminate glue on the inside of your light houseing, making the reflective surface flake off and fall to the bottom
