Default Burnout question...

When i hammer on her from a complete stop (burnin out)
there is lots of wheel bounce (tire hopping) - (Like when i burn the Vette out in Reverse)
and a Hard pull to the Rt.

** Is there anything yall do or i can do to remedy this or atleast minimise it??

I got wider tires and it eliminated some of the wheel hop..... The only time I didn't get wheel hop is when my tires were bald! lol!

I have solid MM inserts and i just put on some 225/50/15 BF-G G-force t/a Drag radials and i have almost no wheel hop(except when i try and dump it at 3500 rpm but even then its very minimal).

Motor mounts will kill a good amount of the wheel hop. They will, in turn, transfer some of that energy in the form of vibration to your steering wheel, albeit not anything you can't control.....

Big tires or MM inserts are two of the best solutions I guess.

Fatter tires without motor mounts=BAD. That's what I have. I am ordering some AGP eng mounts+ tranny mount. Hopefully, that fixes things.

Anyone have a pic of the "top motor Mount" so i can see what is being talked about.
* Or a link of where i can find these. *

Ill be getting 2 new fronts soon (allready got the rears). Im going with the BFG-G force TA. The same kind i have on the Vette (bfg g force TA). Im a big fan of those tires especially after i noticed a considerable grip difference on the Vette over the Goodyears (not to mention lower road noise).

hi heres some links......first one is inserts you get one for the top and the bottom.....make sure you ask for the race versions.... the direction sheet for this particular brand tells you to cut a section out of the bushing..ignore that part its already cut out... http://www.modernperformance.com/dcx...nemounts.shtml

if you want to go all out you can replace the hole unit top and bottom with these http://www.modernperformance.com/dcx/agp_dogbones.shtml are a similar brand

then you also got a tranny mount here http://www.modernperformance.com/dcx...ansmount.shtml
