Glad you're OK. That sucks about the car. Any idea what you are going to replace it with?

 

Just saw this. Wow, glad to hear you weren't seriously hurt! Really sucks about your car though.

There's been an issue with wheel lugs breaking, but from what I've read it's happened only in severe-use situations like road racing; probably not applicable here, but I thought I'd mention it just to cover all the bases.

no answers yet - the lawyers are really dragging their feet too - im about to just give up on it and see if i can still buy the car for salvage if the ins co still has it(they should) - Ill part it out if so - or sell the whole thing - well see - fingers are crossed.

 

glad to hear your okay.. cars can be replaced but lives cannot.

Sorry to hear this Adam, I have been working my a** off at this new job and hardly get time to play with the computer. Last couple of times I was only on it was only for a few minutes and didn't read down through the posts.
This really sucks to hear about the car, but, glad you are OK.
Maybe some good will come of this in the form of all of us being able to head off our own disasters when you finally get this figured out. This is kind of scary as more often than not, I have my 2 kids with me in the car when I'm driving it.
You are lucky, my best friends dad died hitting a tree at the same approximate speed bringing pizza home when we were kids, so, looking at the bright side, it could have been a lot worse.
