i have heard 18 psi on the stock engine. im running like 16-17 with my boost controller. the "check engine" light comes on when i am in too high of a gear and the boost goes to like 20psi.

o.k. now with that said if i wer to get say a stage 2 upgrade will i be able to boost more and how much more? What is needed to go over 17 psi?

you will need a new fuel pump and stg1 ecu i think.thats what my friend has and he is peaking at 20psi then it drops to 17-18 to red line.Me on the other hand peak at 16-17 maybe 18 on a cool night then it drops to 15 to red line at holds it there.

What would you need to run over 17psi on a car without any staged kits?
Injectors
SAFC/DTEC etc
WGA
BOV w/hardpipe because over 19/20 the Mopar isnt going to help you
Potentially an upgraded fuel pump
etc etc.....
