Default Just got my '05 SRT-4

This is my 1st Dodge and my 1st posting...
Just picked up my "new" SRT-4 on Saturday!

The car only has about 200 miles on it so far and I haven't tried to make too much boost yet, but I have a few questions:

How much stock boost should I expect?
What oil should I use and does Dodge make a good oil?
Any online OEM Dodge parts sites that some of you use on a regular basis and can recommend?

Thanks.

Congrats on your new ride bro, I actually just joined and got interested in the neons as well. You would be as good of person as any to ask this....How does it feel as far as speed, handling, etc.

Just want to say Congrats on your new SRT and welcome to the forum. I used Mobil 1 0-40 oil after 3000 miles. I spiked 15 lbs and held 13-14 on stock engine. Every car is different so this should only be a gauge. Others may get different boost so take an average. Enjoy your ride!

Not sure on the speed yet because I'm driving it pretty easy, but I can say from just driving around town that it seems to handle better than my old '02 Mustang GT. And except for not having leather, the interior actually looks better on the SRT-4 and the seats feel way better.

Thanks man, and whats really funny is i currently have a 99 GT Mustang. I guess we are like two peas in a pod. Can i ask you what was your reason for getting the srt and getting rid of your stang?

Thanks,

Got rid of the Mustang before I really wanted to but a buddy kept bugging me to sell it to him and offered me a good price. As for the SRT, I was actually looking to get an EVO, STI or even a new Mustang GT and then my brother told me to consider an SRT-4 if I could still find one. I checked online and the closest place that still had a new one for sale was at a dealership 125 miles away...bought it. It's Stone White and I paid 19K for it, so I think I made the right choice.

Thanks for the welcome.
Feels kind of strange going from a RWD Mustang to a FWD Neon but so far I'm pretty impressed with the SRT-4. It probably brakes and handles better than my Mustang did - probably actually runs faster than my (automatic) Mustang did 0-60 and 1/4 mile and has a higher top speed - gets better gas mileage too!
