The CEL with trigger after 3 complete cycles of driving (a certain amount of time) in a row where the error is detected. So yes you will throw a code. Sometimes you throw one without the light even being on. So always cycle once a week just to check.

take some advice, stay away from the ebay dp. i've seen this on a car and it's a pos.

i personally hate cut outs. they are too loud, cause too much attention, and eventually fail (usually a few days after your 1-yr warranty is up too! haha). i have all maxxfab products on my car and i can vouch for his parts. they are excellent quality and built to your specs. scott has excellent customer service as well, if anytong ever goes wrong he will do whatever he can to help you out. i delt with him a number of times (gone through various exhaust set ups from him) and he has been great every single time.

Looks like a decent product but for $100 more you can have a maxxfab,i think his customer service and product are worth the extra $$$.Plus they always say"you get what you pay for"!!!God damn it IZZY just get a maxxfab or needswing so you can worry about what stage kit to buy!!!!!!!
