50 trim.

I've heard nothing but success stories with 50 trim powered SRT-4's.

PSI-FI sold the 57 trim, if i am not mistaken it yielded more power than the 50 trim boost for boost. At the dyno we yielded 363whp @ 17 psi creeping to 20 psi @ redline. This is @ 10.8 a/f. with semi-slipping clutch and bad Faulty FPR. Are there any dyno's of 50 trims, did a search NOTHING popped up.. BTW the power NEVER DIED it climbs all the way to redline the 50 trim that we saw at the dyno peak'd the power band @ 5k and died 20-30hp @ red line.

363 @ 20psi? (since I'm assuming peak HP was made at redline, where the 20psi "boost creep" was).

One local guy made 380-390 (on 91octane gas I might add) with the standard 50 trim @ 19psi. I'll see if I can dig up some dyno charts.

AND, I should add that people have made (just barely) over 500whp on the 50trim; I have yet to hear of a 57trim hitting those numbers.

The 57 trim may spool a tiny bit quicker than the standard 50 trim, but the DBB 50trim will spool much faster than either of them.

Here's what AGP says about the 57 trim turbo:

57 trim is not a turbo we really recommend for a SRT4. Its basically a less efficient 50 trim. Other shops will tell you that a 57trim is a larger turbo than the 50trim, but it is not. (remember trim is a ratio not a size) 57 trim spools slower and makes less power than a 50 trim and also has been known to surge on SRT4 applications. If you want something that spools faster than a 60, then get a 50 trim. If you want a bit more power, get a 60 trim.
And I highly recommend AGP as they have helped me get my car where it was and soon will be; they've taught me alot about turbos since I first started modifying my car.

As for what I have for sale, currently:

Brand New set of Crane 14 cams, modified to use the 2.0L cam gears (wider selection of 2.0L cam gears available)
AVC-R Boost controller
D-Tec Fuel Computer
MSD Programmable DIS-2 w/ 3Bar MAP sensor.
DSS Stage 3 Axles

I guess me and welder have something to prove . Im the one with the 57 trim. You say a 50 trim @ 19psi made 380ish. Im at 17psi boost creaping at about 5700 to 6000 to 19psi to be exact and im at 363 with 10a/f untuned with a almost soon to be gone clutch. Also TO ADD, my entire turbo system is home made. (manifold, exhaust, Vacuum System, Return Line, ect... If you look at my car, you will surely think its from the ghetto. .

How many of you guys has made it to 320+ hp and 360+torque on a Stage1 kit stock turbo no porting crap, pure stock srt4 engine, with no Tuning or mapclamp what so ever and that has lasted more then 8 months.

Ive droped many mouths around here when i was stock turbo. I guess ill have to do it again with the 57 trim.
