Supporting mods.......
I am in the process of getting stg 2 w/toys and was wondering what all power additions/performance enhancements I could get to complement and get the maximum power out of the staged kit? Will colder plugs and 8.5 wires enhance power at all? I've currently got the Mopar Borla exhaust, which will soon be modified with a Maxxfab catless downpipe and and O2 housing. I've also got an AEM cold air intake. I will be getting an Exhaust Depot hardpipe kit with an HKS BOV and water injection. Soon after I plan on getting an intercooler upgrade (probably the AGP direct mount, because I can't bring myself to can my crash bar........yet). Anything I missed? I'm looking for any (relatively reliable) power adders I can get my hands on to bring stg2 to it's maximum, considering I won't be jumping to stg3 for probably about 25,000 miles (approx. 1 1/2 to 2 years from now the way I put miles on this beast).
I'd say grab some:
Motor Mounts
Short Throw Shifter
SwayBars
S1 Springs
Upgraded Bushing Kit
Plugs/Wires (not MSD)(NGK on the plugs)
Because you have the powder adders, but you forgot the stability/launching aspect of it all.

I've already got MSD wires sitting in my car, just haven't put them on yet. Why not MSD? Anyway, I've already got the stability part under control, that's why I was asking about the power aspect of upgrading. I've currently got the STS and motor mount inserts, and have Revitup traction bars and Weapon R engine dampner in the works. Shortly after will be springs and wider rims and tires. How much do the S1 springs lower the car? I want a VERY mild set of lowering springs. Thanks for the info on the manifold and throttle body, those slipped by me.
They cause misfires and dont seat properly on Iridium plugs. Leave the stock coilpack in there too, its your best bet. If you get/have plugs gap them closer say .032-.040
Mopar S1 springs lower by about 24-25mm or an Inch. Very subtle, but noticeable.

msd wires do not cause misfires. i had a set for over a year and they worked perfectly. the vast majority of people around here also use msd wires and no one has had a misfire problem with them. i only switched away from them because i have denso ITV plugs and they require different wires to seat on the plug properly, otherwise i would have gotten a new set when i went to irridium plugs. msd are actually one of the better wires out there. i totally agree about the coil pack, aftermarket ones are pos's, the stock is actually a very good unit and is more than enough for whatever we can throw at it.
as for the upgrade path, sounds like you have a good plan. i would also suggest a good tb, i like the lorenzo however it is expensive, but worth every penny imo. save your money and don't bother upgrading the fmic if you're looking for a direct fit, it doesn't make a big difference. a big fmic is a much better choice, you can get an aftermarket crashbar if you are concerned (i have the slowboy, it's not as good as stock but better than nothing).

I've known a few people around here that have issues with them not seating on the Iridiums thats the reason I said that. Maybe with stock plugs they're okay, but with Iridiums, they didnt seat right at all for me or any of my friends.
