Rear windows
is there something that i can do to make the rear windows go all the way down?
i was thinking about removing the rear door panels and seeing if there is something keeping them from goin all the way down....
did any of you guys/gals know how to fix this problem?

That's the way they were designed....I'm going to leave well enough alone, hurricane season is here and I don't want any air/water leaks to worry about......[&:]
The rear windows don't go all the way down for several reasons...
a) The rear wheel well is in the way.
b) The window regulator is not manufactured to go all the way down.

I'm lazy, I wouldn't roll 'em down even if I could. If it's hot enough to require 4 windows being rolled down, it's time for the A/C. Besides, you get better gas mileage with the A/C on than you do with all the windows down...[&:]
No, in reality, the rear two doors and windows are big stickers that are put on at the factory as a cost saving measure....but don't tell anyone!!!![sm=smiley36.gif]

dodgegirl is right, the rear tires will not let the windows go down. Notice the curve in the door that curves up over the tire (it doesn't go over the tire, but it starts the curve that goes over the tire). That curve is what stops the window...
And I've seen/read auto magazines that mark the SRT-4 "down" for not having windows in the rear that roll all the way down....who gives a rats rear?[:'(]
that's exactly right, most of those magazines are probably sponsered by some other car manufacturer that cannot keep up with the SRT and that is the only complaint that they could think of... they have to bad mouth it, it is a DODGE!!!
