The higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tires will last. Then again how you drive, and the rate at which they're rotated has alot to do with it also.

I have BFG G-Force sports
240 treadwear rating
Best dry handling tires in their class
Highest traction/temperature ratings available
No road noise or highway wander whatsoever

And...they have 36,000 miles on them, and 7/32 of tread left. Its nowhere NEAR the wear indicators

they only last you that long LSP because you drive like grandma!!! if you beat on the car, or drive "aggressively" they won't last you more than 5k, just ask the 188937 people that have tried them.

i just got a set of eagle f1 gs-d3's and i couldn't be happier with them. ok tread wear, but then again i don't expect more than a year out of a set of tires so i don't really care about that. quiet ride, and they stick to the ground like mad.

the bf goodrich sport tires are quiet...........but my car wanders pretty bad now...when it was fine before with the centerlines and falken..........maybe going from stock to 42 offset on the centerlines............to now 40 offset on the kazaras has something to do with it.............but i got to get it checked

If your looking for Performance which is assumed if you have an SRT-4 then your gona sacrifice tread wear.

The BFG's will last if your *not* one that allways has to burn out or cut the corners as hard as possible *all the time*. - N E how if do what is stated above Often then your gona want a performace tire so you dont go slideing all over the place or get stuck at a light Loooosing due to too much burn out from lack of traction.

From my xp witht The BFG's the performace is there, quiet ride, and hellofa lot cheeper than the over priced Goodyears.

1) they are bad *** performance tieres for the money
2) the tread pattern is cool lookin :-)

I agree with ya Racevette! The same reasons you'd want a performance tire are the same reasons they won't last that long! I loved them when I had the stockies, but got a wider setup and may have to get another set down the road......

With the wider set up im sure you have a substantially better launch.
With the wider set up have you noticed any negitive effects?
