I got the DC Sport STB's and it says 19 lb. ft. on the front and 43 lb. ft. on the rear if that helps. Do you remember which thread the post about the DC Sport RSTB was in? I believe the guy said he had to do something special for it to fit in the back and I don't remember what it was.

Nevermind the 43 lb ft in the rear. I snapped the first bolt off at 43 lb ft. Any idea what I should do now? Is that a hard part to replace do you know and can I still drive without it? I'm freaking out now. I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Since you now have the STB on it, one broken stud shouldn't pose a problem unless you plan on taking it to the track every weekend on a sports car course. The STB should brace it well enough with only one gone. How far down is the stud broken even with the top of the STB end, below the STB end or farther down?

The part that was modified, I believe, was the trunk carpet/surround material.

The stud is broken just about even with the STB with a very small part barely sticking above. Yes, I found that the carpet really doesn't fit now. I'm probably going to cut part of it out so that it fits better. Thanks RR.

Not a problem.[sm=smiley2.gif] If there was enough of it left, I was going to suggest removing the STB and having the end modified to eliminate the need for that hole by cutting that section out or making the hole larger to go around the nut itself.
