what do you guys shift at while driving at a normal pace....

i shift threw my gears at around 3000 or a little less
and my cars moves forward like a turtle with three legs

Honestly, I try to shift at the best shift point I can....period....regardless of whether its a street race or a daily drive. My car responds horribly in low rpm shifts as well....

 

Usually shift out of 1st 2300-2500 then the rest 2500-2800.

 

i shift my gears around 3500 - 4000

probably not the best idea but my car runs like sh*t if i dont [>:]

 

I usually shift right at around 3k rpm. It wont move slow if you give her gas and hit that 3k rpm fast - just gotta shift through the gears quick ). 4k on occasion if i forget to shift lol she gets through the rpms so quick.

 

I don't pay that much attention to the tach, I go mostly by the feel of the engine and the sound. If I'm running hard, I'll watch the tach to make sure I don't hit the redline.....

i keep it under 3200 and dont go above 0 vac. my car drives just fine. it actually drives worse if i go above 3500-3800 with out boost.

 

I'll TRY and shift around 3500 in all gears. I find that my car doesn't run as well if I shift any lower.
