Default 04 PCV

I have an 03' SRT-4 and deal just like everyone with the oil leak. Do the 04' SRT's have the same issue? I know that they have a different PCV valve setup but was that to try and fix the problem and does that work. I was going to get the powdercoated vsalve cover but modern performance said that they don't do the core set up and that they only use the 04' valve covers because of the up dated system.

I didn't know there was an issue with oil leaking from the PCV. I'm guessing you mean the grommet area?

Have you looked into a baffle for under the stock valve cover? I had them on a different vehicle, but not sure if they are available for SRT-4.

yeah this is the same issue that the oil catch can solves, I just haven't bought mine yet. This was just the first that I had heard about then changing anything about the PCV valve and wondered if it was the factory's fix for the problem. But thank anyways.

OCC is still needed on the '04's. Mine has already built up a good bit of oil in the PCV OCC, my other OCC has started to get some in the bowl of it now and not just on the filter.

Never heard about this problem. Kinda of new to the scene, so hope you can cut me some slack and tell me where to buy this catch can and where you installed it in the bay.

Thank's! Guess I'm a little late to the party. Hope y'all don't mind going over things for new owners.
