I JUST GOT MY WASTEGATE BUT IM NOT TOO SURE HOW TO ADJUST IT TO MAKE IT GIVE ME THE BOOST I WANT. NEED HELP, HOW DO I MAKE IT WORK AND HOW WILL I FIND OUT WHEN ITS ADJUSTING THE RIGHT WAY?

 

theres a nut on them that you have to loosen/tighten then turn the piece on the end of the WGA that is under the heat shield to the nut.. i'm not sure which way gives you more/less boost.. experiment with it once to find out or you can just wait until some one posts the answer..

you should start out at 4 mm and adjust from there

not sure.. it was awhile ago when i adjusted mine.. i don't remember

 

4mm or 2 threads is a good starting point but its all what fells good to you and the car. for about a year i was running 5 threads and doing great. last night i started to mess with it a bit since i had the time. havent found where i want to leave it.

 

DO YOU KNOW IF I SHOULD TURN IT UP OR DOWN? THATS WHAT I NEED TO KNOW. BECAUSE RIGHT NOW ITS KIND OF TIGHT AND ITS ONLY BOOSTING AT 10PSI ON 1ST AND 2ND GEAR AND ONLY 12PSI ON 3RD AND 4TH GEAR.

 

you can safely turn it up to around 16 PSI stock.. ugrade to stg 1 if you plan on going any higher then 16..

running 12 PSI will get you better gas mileage

 

GAS IS NOT REALLY A PROBLEM FOR ME I HAVE A GAS CARD FROM MY WORK. RIGHT NOW I JUST WANNA GET A LITTLE MORE POWER OUT OF MY SRT.

 

bump it up to 16 PSI and you will notice a big performace difference.. upgrade to stg 1 if you want to run anything higher
