Amazing
I just came back from a Touge cruise on Mulholland Dr. up in Hollywood. It was amazing, simply amazing. The whole trip took about an hour... 30 minutes back and forth. It was awesome, if you dont know what Touge is, you are missing out, trust me! Next time I will take pics, its amazing.
I'm lost on what a "touge" is, but back when I lived in 'Vegas I would occasionally come down to L.A. On my ol Ninja. There's all kinds of fun cruising out there. I have driven the Pacific coast hwy, the whole Angeles crest and probably all of Mullholland end to end. I've cruised all through Santa Monica, Hollywood etc. All great stuff. Kind of wish I was close enough to do it all again in my SRT-4. I'm just glad I don't have to live there. It was fun to visit though.
Touge is the japanese word for Mountain Runs/Passes, what we call Canyon runs. I am so freakin hooked, to the point where I dont even think about racing anymore, I just think about the canyons and working on my suspension. So far, my stock suspension is keeping up, there are some turns that I have to slow down a bit more than usual, but its still alot of fun. Team is coming along real good too. Mulholland is probably one of the best roads that Los Angeles, has to offer, only downside... that stupid *** Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift on my ***** movie killled it for everyone that liked doing Touge. Either way, there are still some nights where the bacon scented cops aren't up there, so its all good. It would be cool to have a Meet in LA again and cruise Mulholland. Anyone up for it?
I up!!!!!!
I'm in the middle of moving out of my girl-friend's (EX GIRL-FRIEND!!
) house, but in about a month I should be ready for a meet of some kind.
I've found some more SRT owners up here in my neck of the woods and they want to do something soon!

If I still lived in 'Vegas, hell yeah I would love too, but alas, I live in Kalamazoo now. Doin my thing up here in Gods country now.
I have been invited by a local dude who drives an S2000 and is in an S2000 club here locally to go on a "dragon" run. I have been thinking about it. It is down in the Appalacians. I hear it's wicked fun. I know you can look it up. Check it out. I personally have been on some seriously twisty roads that cut "straight" across the Appalacian Mountains from starting in Virginia to ending in Ohio. The "highway" I was on was like 150 miles of hairpin turns. No guardrails. 1st , 2nd and third gear the whole way. Never so much as a quarter mile of straight road. It was freakin un-believeable. Every little town in each valley had one thriving service station and the whole town smelled like burnt brakes and clutches. I'm not kidding! You ever get a chance to go east, try some of these roads.

I love the feeling of not being able to really get past 2nd or 3rd gear up on the mountains, its sick, you have to be precise with the turns in order to get out of them quicker, its so much fun man, its turned me into a different driver, I see driving and modding different. I worry more about turns, about suspension, I am not to fond of the whole drag strip idea or street racing, I take it easy on the freeway now, now all I think about is getting up their and putting my machine to the test, its awesome!
