Default Considering STS and Bushings

I've been considering purchasing a STS and shifter bushings for my SRT, but I need some input and opinions on what I'm thinking. Right now I'm looking at the Mopar STS and Energy Suspension shifter bushings. What are your thoughts on this combination? I would appreciate your comments as soon as possible since I have the extra cash now and may not tomorrow. Yeah, I know it's not a lot of money, but it's the best I can do right now. Thanks.

I think that I am going to get the sts from glacialgraphics.net It seems to be pretty good for the money. Also, I am going to get some booger bushings.

Good decision. The booger bushings kick ***. I like the shifter as well. Woot.

It is a fantastic mod that you'll always love. The Mopar Performance STS replaces the whole shifter keeping everything right and shortens the throw quite a bit and it's easy to change (about 10-15 minutes), but the bushings on the transmission linkage will take a while since it's kinda hard to get to.

you can get the booger bushings at turboneonstore.com for $22 or at turbowholesale.com for $21. you might could find them cheaper somewhere else, just depends on who you like. i've got the perrin STS and love it because you can adjust the height up or down by an inch or two. mine is set as low as it will go and haven't had any problem yet, except for getting to it. pulling that center console out is a pain, plus you might have to readjust your e-brake after you get done. there may be a simpler way, but i don't know.

I have the Mopar STS without the booger bushings.I am very satisfied with it,shortens up the throw quit a bit.I steered away from the bushings cause it seemed like more hassle than it was worth.

the bushings aren't that bad to put in. take out the battery, tray, and intake and it's all right there. maybe 15 mins. under the hood. lots of grease helps them go in. they come with pretty descriptive instructions so it's almost impossible to mess up. don't remember if it really helped since they were one of the first things i did 2 years ago. they haven't messed up so i guess they're alright.
