this past saturday i drove to a local dealer to pick up my Mopar blow off conversion plate. i thought bout havin the dealer do it, but then jus couldnt resist gettin my hands dirty. i got home waitd for the car to cool then i dove in. all went well, xcept that 3rd bolt. i now know why its so famous!!! i finished in about 2 hours cuz i was bein as careful and precise as possible. final word.... best darn $60 i have ever spent!!! i have never been more satisfied with somethin i've bought ever in my life!! this thing is amazin. the sound is loud, but not annoyingly loud. i love how jus pressin the gas a little makes it psssht. the icin on the cake is that i installed it myself. jus thought id go on here and say thanx cuz i wouldve never done anythin under the hood myself. readin these forums has really improved my knowledge of my car and of cars in general. thanx again!!!

Wait till you run 19 pounds of boost through the blue plate....oh my GOD does it get loud lol. If you had no issues with that Im sure with a decent set of tools and instructions you could tackle a bunch of other stuff.

you even liked it that long??? i had fun with it for about three days and then was annoyed that it was 1. leaking and 2. blowing off every 2.9 seconds. damn thing blows off in reverse!

 

i have the same thing.. i loved it from the day i installed it and i still do.. 2 and 1/2 months later.. getting your hands in those tight spots is a #$%#$ i worked at the 3rd bolt for atleast 30-45 minutes alone trying to get it off and back on.. but its well worth it

only thing i regret is finding the machine shopped version of it for 50 bucks less a week later haha

 

i think the mopar rice plate is usually any new srt owners first mod, it was my first mod and i liked it for the 2 months i had it, i changed it for sound, cuz the plate sounds like a semi truck is about to stop, and two im gonna be going big turbo and bye bye turbo housing.

 

It was my 1st mod as well and I love it even after 2 years.

 

It was one of my first mods, I loved it when it chewed my arm apart trying to get it in, and I still love it 6 months later. I like scaring people on the street [:@]
