it was probably the funniest thing i have ever read. they're arguing about how fast they are from 0-6mph......it was just too much.

It's the nature of the beast, superchargers in general enhance the engines output the same as the engine is stock. If the stock engine has good horsepower and low torque, then it will result in the exact same hp vs. tq measure but with more of both evenly like stock. Turbochargers in general enhance both as well, but they really boost torque since they work off the exhaust. A great example is a Honda engine, they have good horsepower and no torque, so supercharging them boosts both evenly leaving them with high horsepower and moderate torque. Turbocharging them however boosts their torque far above stock and gives them good horsepower gains as well, but it's more focused on the torque. Another great example of this was an SRT-4 project car where they raised the boost only 1 psi and only gained a few horsepower yet gained 60+ torque. As I said, it's the nature of the beast.
