Latrodectus, were you in Tucson today? If not someone has an SRT-4 that is almost as nice as yours.

Nope, my car is still in MetalMan's garage getting the last few parts fab'd up now that the Auto transmission has finally arrived.

I hope to have it on the road by the end of September.

It's coming... the car has been sitting in Metal Man's garage for the past few months while the bugs were being worked out of the new DCR Auto transaxle. Now that the transmission is here, hopefully it won't be too long.

Here's a not-so-recent pic of the engine bay:

And there it was. After searching for countless ages, the young prince finally found the most beautiful intake manifold in all the land.............

You MUST get some pics of that engine when shes done.

It's the most wonderful thing (sniff sniff, tears) I've ever seen.

It's a water to air aftercooler. The small tanks (only one shown in the picture) have water flowing through them, the water is pumped down to a "radiator" down where the FMIC used to be. The nice thing about this setup is the air will come out of the turbo run 4" to the intercooler then run 4" to the throttlebody; instead of having 2-3 feet of intercooler piping I'll have less than a foot.

I'll definitely get some pics posted up here as soon as it's done. I know progress has been made since these pics were taken, but I haven't even seen it myself.

The other things that Metal Man is doing for me is a custom tubular turbo manifold and a 4" exhaust.
