These weirdo's here put salt down on the snow, then plow it. Im thinking what the heck?! Whatever happened to plowing then salting? LOL

They're all like that. It comes down to cost cutting and profit making. "A penny saved is a penny earned" mentality, literally. They care more about profit than quality. Gee, I can't see how the imports are out-selling the domestics.

The dealership ,Clearlake Dodge in houston texas, where I saw the 2 rusty srt-4's e-mailed me back. The fleet manager said the sway bar is made of carbon steel and rusting is normal. If I want he said they would sand the sway bar and paint it for me if I bought it. The fleet manager said he could offer me the 04 electric blue with a sunroof rust and all for a whoping $22,900. I wonder should I lube up before I go too see him and grab my ankles? Maybe I should e-mail him back a few times and work up to some hot internet chat before going to see him. That way I can really enjoy getting reamed. What a freaking joke. They have the car listed for $21,335. on their website. I'm not gonna buy didly from these
By, the way my bitch is not about foreign verses dodge or american. My complaint is about product QUALITY. Maybe if we americans would have been more demanding on our car manufacturing industry many years ago then we wouldn't all be driving around in Jap or kraut wagons! No, it's not my patriotic duty to take it in the shorts because the domestic auto industry can't get their act together.
Sure, I could buy another foreign car, but the srt-4 is one bad mother. Theirs nothing out their in comparison for bang for the buck. I also like the fact the car is very basic and designed for nothing but performance. Reminds me of my 87 911 carrera. Roll up back windows ROCK! I like the fact that dodge is willing to put out a purely viseral machine and resist the temptation to hang a bunch of luxury car crap in it. Pure, street ROD!
I apologize if I'm upsetting the apple cart by pointing out the truth about the emperors new clothes but I work hard for my money and I expect a QUALITY product in return. I'm glad to see some of you agree with me and I hope you who are use to being punked out by the auto industry will get tired if being it's bitch and take a stand as well. I want MY SRT-4 but I sure as HELL ain't going to take it with no RUST!

I'm with 'ya on that. As far as pure performance, you need to check out the Dodge Razor concept car for PURE performance. No options except color. No radio. No A/C. No power anything. No automatics(like the SRT-4). Not even any carpet. It's RWD and 250 hp. Now thats PURE performance. Oh yeah... Did I forget to mention that it was only going to cost $14,500.

So, e-mailed another dealer in town about the rust on the srt-4 at clearlake dodge. This one is northwest dodge. The fleet manager told me that it sounds like the clearlake car was wrecked or scraped and not repainted. He assured me that he doesn't have rust on his srt-4 solar yellow. I might go look at it. It also has the highback seats that I like as well.
