I am new to this site but here is some info for you guy's. Everybody has been putting MSD wires on their cars, this may not be the best option(a good one though). I have had really good luck with Nology wires, coils, and Beru plugs. Nology is the only after-market ignition add-ons that have created power and show up on a dyno. I have not tested them on a SRT-4 yet but soon as mine gets in they are going on and then off to the dyno. I have had them on BMW's, VW's, and installed them on customer cars(like honda's and other jap's) with all of them showing gains.
Yes!!! lol I always dyno a car before starting to do any mods that way you know your base line hp and torque before doing anything. This way you know for sure the part or parts you added make hp instead of losing. Believe it or not I have dyno'ed brand new Porsche that the dealers brought to the shop I use to work for just to check figures that Manufacture was saying vehicle put out.
I agree 100% with doing it to a car before you do work on it, but a dyno on a "new"car doesn't take into account the break in period, and how the car is broken in contributes to later hp/torque figures....what's your "break-in" procedure?
