are the coils and wires worth it?

I can't decide whether or not to get it.

On the subject of sparks - does yours/did yours have a rough idle?(real shaky - no visible rpm fluctuation but very noticable intermittent shake/obviious when looking at lt. side motor mount) - runs great otherwise

The wires are a "must". I put MSDs on mine because the #4 wire (closest to the turbo) had turned white from the heat and was starting to bubble up. Modern Performance carries them and they have photos of a melted wire from one of their own project cars.[&:]

Is it a 3000GT VR4 or Stealth R/T TT? What year is it, I know it's a '94 or newer by the headlights. I always did want a '93 R/T TT in black fully loaded with black leather interior. Here's a pic of a Stealth R/T TT that you might like, I wish it were mine:

The coil pack really isn't since it has the same exact output as the stock coil, but it is better quality being an MSD. The wires are a must, mine are MSD Super Conductor plug wires. As dusty said, the stock wires or should I say wire, will most likely burn up from the turbo heat. The stock wires have over 2,000 ohms resistance in the shorter wires (2 & 3) and over 3,000 in the longer ones (1 & 4). The MSD wires are less than 50 ohms per foot of resistance and the longer wires aren't even a foot long, so they are around only 35 ohms resistance and the shorter ones are even less. Now that is what you call spark energy.[sm=smiley2.gif]

I have noticed the shake that you are refering to, but I have never watched the engine as it is running to see if it is as you describe. My Shelby Z was the same way as was my R/T. My Roadrunners 440 has one hell of a shake and damn near jumps out the car, but thats the way I like it and it does it for a good reason.[sm=smiley2.gif][sm=smiley4.gif]
