A pain in you know what . I purchased some of these never was able to get all the bubbles out and have it look worth a dam,
thinking about sticking with the carbon fiber ones a little more money but less hassle

I have the vinyl ones on right now, but I personally think they look like crap.
if you do go with the vinyl ones and pull all your hair out. . . take the housing completely out to do it and wrap the top of the vinyl down or it will split and bubble.

I would NEVER suggest using vinal, but if you do use a little water with a touch of soap mixture in a spray bottle, then use a plastic squeegee to get the bubbles out.

I have the vinyls. They look great. Everyone who sees them likes them. I got mine from ruthless graphics. They came with instructions, but if yours didn't, you can go to their website and print the instuctions from there. It helps if you have installed anything vinyl before, and I had my wife help as it seems to be a bit much for 2 hands. Use soapy water, but by that I mean like a tablespoon of dish soap in half a bucket of water.
Couple of tips are; (1)The vinyl will be much easier to install if it is warm. Do it in the sun or a heated garage or have a warm heat lamp or halogen
work light nearby to keep the surface and the vinyl warm, not hot, while you work.
(2)The light lens is plastic and will scratch so do not use an abasive to clean it or cut the vinyl against it.
(3)With the soapy water, you can work the vinyl around for a little bit before it sticks too much. Use a soft plastic spatula or bondo
spreader to work the bubbles out. You will not get 100% of them out. No worries, just poke the bubble when you have it
worked up tight with the corner of a razor blade or tip of an exacto knife and squeeze the water out. The bubble will/should
disappear and the tiny hole you made will be invisible and will not cause problems.
It's a great mod. One of the best for the money.
