I'm going to ignore that and just tell you that a SRT-4 (Frankenneon, if you will) can blow away any car in its price range and even most cars costing $10,000 more....0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds sound fast enough to you? 13 second quarter miles get you there quickly enough? 150+ mph top end give you enough wind rash? You get the picture....

And God forbid if you put any mods on it......[sm=smiley36.gif]

From who do you here this? Most often, comments come from owners of other makes that can't stand the fact that this car kicks ***.
Had a young guy try to tell me "SRT-4s re overrated" When I asked him to explain in what way, he of coourse couldn't pin it down any better. Of course, his VR6 Jetta was a much better car. AFAIK, there have been very few, if any problems, qualitywise. Mine has 36 thousnad miles, only two minor issues. If you do have any facts or hard evidence, please feel free to share, we're a pretty open-minded bunch.

It's usually a case of "sour grapes". People are upset you have a $20,000 car that can beat their $30,000 car so they fall back on the old '95 Neon head gasket problems and stories to make up for their insecurity....

Since it's a turbo, they highly recommend 3,000 miles/3 month oil changes and synthetic oil...I've been doing that to all my cars since the 1960's. Not a problem. I've been driving mine for 1/2 year and haven't added a drop of oil yet. I have an Oil Catch Can to trap the oil that blows past the PCV valve, but it's only a few ounces....no leaks on the garage floor, either![sm=smiley16.gif]
