If you read what I said.....its a waste of money if you don't have a stage kit. The MBC in and of itself is NOT a waste of money. But if you have a WGA that can control its own boost, and if you DON'T have a stage kit then WHY bother?!

to the original poster: wait a minute.....you're going to be messing with a ems but you don't understand why you need a wga?????? you might seriously want to reconsider things. i'm not trying to be a dick, but you obviously have a lot to learn about turbo cars and you should not be messing with a ems until you understand the basics of how the car works and what parts do what. one slight wrong adjustment and you can very easily blow your motor with a ems, it's not something for a beginner to be playing with. and you're doing all this on a stock turbo? why?
and to clarify...you need a wga along with a mbc because without it you tend to have higher spikes and it's less controlled. plus running only a wga tends to cause problems with surging and studdering at lower rpms, and you can't run as high boost. on the stock turbo it doesn't really matter all that much as to the higher psi levels, but once you upgrade the turbo you need to control it more.
im not doin the aems myself, Dont worry psichick i dont mess with computers... The reason i wanted to build the motor up instead of gettin a bigger turbo first was because the shop i went to got me a really good deal on the parts since i was goin to have them do the work on it. As for the turbo, i am gettin a bigger turbo by the end of the month so all this money wouldnt go to waste, just i decided to do things backwards.. Im planning on gettin the agp stage 4 kit
