ATTN: 300 HP club
I have a few questions for you.
1) Baseline (do a dyno run stock?)
2) What parts/tuning did it take?
3) HP and Torque numbers with peak RPMs (a dyno graph would be nice, same dyno as baseline run would be even better)
I don't own an SRT-4, but the engine is looking like the pick for a project car I plan on starting this spring... If at all possible, I would like to stay at relatively low boost (20 psi?) since I may not be able to fit a large IC. I realize it will be more expensive to do it that way, but it may be required. And lastly, what are some good aftermarket sites for tuning SRT-4 motors? Thanks

im not sure if it worked..but i uploaded my dyno sheets.. given, this is a **** load more than 300hp, but it should give you an idea...if you want to know my list of mods, see my listing subject: "what to do with 500hp", its just a few postings under yours in the "drivetrain" section...

from AMS. ~2200 bucks for a built short block, with wiseco pistons, eagle rods, no balance shafts, blueprinted and balanced bottom end, add another couple hundred for ARP studs top to bottom. you can get em to bolt on their stage 3 race ported head, also with ARP studs, for another 1800 bucks. only a little more expensive than stock. and they have various component upgrades availible as well. i made ~330 whp at 15psi on a 50 trim with 9:1 afr's. ran a 13.7 @ 106, not impressive, but when you consider the stock srt's at the same track were barely trapping 100 and crossing the lights at 14.3 or so, it's not that bad. anyway, a bigger turbo nets you mileage as well, it's not spooled all the time, so you don't suck gas down. i picked up 3 mpg from a 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust, and another 3 from the big turbo, and that's around town mileage, i get near 30 on the highway.
i know, it was running like ****. bithlo is known for having terrible grip. a buddy of mine just moved down here from ohio, he runs a 9.89 on the bottle (built 406, trans brake, stall converter, heads, cam, etc) and the best pass he could manage at bithlo was a 10.5. the track is slow.
