I like the cai but from what others say on here, is that since it is turbo it really doesnt matter if it a cai or a sri.

Well as far as CAI and SRI go no. At the most it's a couple hp. You'll get a very slight increase with a CAI but the SRI is usually bout the same minus 1 to 3 hp. No big deal if you worried about installing a CAI. But CAI's are very safe as long as you dont do anything crazy like roll through deep water and such. I had a CAI on my other car and here in England it rains like ....forever and I never had a problem with it.

or just get the blue sock from k&n. it came with my typhoon and is supposed to help keep some water from getting through. but not if you drive through puddles and deep water. but in my opinion, if you drive through deep water, you deserve to water lock your motor. i don't drive mine in heavy rain so i'm not worried about it any way, but if you don't have that option and it rains a lot, just go short ram. the small hp loss makes up for not getting water in your engine
